[POWER S4E04] I Promise You I Didn’t Know…

Man, I promise you I didn’t know. It’s like I got a seat at the table and I’m apart of Power’s writing team. Because, after this episode wrapped, I swear to GOD Almighty, I said, “I don’t just watch Power…I’m IN POWER!”

…And, low and behold, this week’s episode is titled, “WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER…”

Yooooo, this shit is crazy! From the gate, I’m pissed and I wanna whoop Charlie Murphy’s ass, (RIP My G, but shit, you playing that role too good!!!), while being torn, by feelin the cop code. They are a gang too, don’t play! So, if you touch one of theirs, they are gonna make you feel it!

Theeeeeeeen Angela and Tasha meet up, and I’m beggin the writers, by the end of season, let wifey get one pimp slap in, for real, have Tommy be ready with the powder on deck, lol… And, Lord, save the children, cause I wanna touch that little boy up so tough! Tariq, you that lonely, to let yourself get infiltrated like that? You out here doing big mon moves, all cause you mad at Daddy? You’re worst than a bitch…Bless my heart, lol! But, I got boys and I tell them all the time, it’s not always personal, but there’s ALWAYS kats like Kanan (50 Cent’s character), waiting for you in the wings. TRUST! I just wished baby gurl would’ve said…“Slim, oh you mean KANAN…?”

Luenell is a force of nature. This talented comedienne, actress and singer, was born in Tollette, Arkansas, a town whose population barely registers with the U.S. census. At the tender age of 10, she caught the acting bug after seeing the plays “South Pacific” and “Ain’t S’posed to Die a Natural Death”. She enrolled in theatre classes at the grade school level and continued to study through college and cut her teeth at the Oakland Ensemble Theatre. These days, Luenell’s star continues to rise due to her appearances in television, film and music videos. Best known for her breakthrough role as the “hooker with the heart of gold” in the blockbuster comedy of 2006, Borat.

Luenell is recognized by both mainstream AND urban sectors of the population. Her two-year tour and DVD appearances in “Katt Williams American Hustle” have created an almost cult-like following. + Blockbuster features in Taken 2Hotel Transylvania and That’s My Boy, tonight’s show is just a peek into what’s to come of this triple threat!

MORE ABOUT THE SHOW

TBS has brought it this spring! Birthing the hidden-camera comedy with the brand new series Who Gets the Last Laugh? Hosted by Donald Faison (Scrubs), the series will pit some of the industry’s most well-known comedians and comedy actors against one another to see who can pull the most outrageous practical jokes. Who Gets the Last Laugh?-is the brainchild of Punk’d co-creators Jason Goldberg and Ashton Kutcher.

Each week on Who Gets the Last Laugh?, three guest comedians must dream up the funniest and most outrageous pranks possible, then successfully unleash their ideas on an unsuspecting public. A live audience then determines which comedy star really got the last laugh, with the winner earning $10,000 to be given to the charity of their choice.

Among the comedians who have lined up to participate are Luenell (Taken 2), Andy Dick (NewsRadio), Tom Green (The Tom Green Show), D.L. Hughley (The Hughleys), Chris Kattan (The Middle, Saturday Night Live), Bam Margera (Jackass), Bill Bellamy (Any Given Sunday), Charlie Murphy (Chappelle’s Show), Cheri Oteri (Saturday Night Live), Alan Thicke (Growing Pains), Nicole Sullivan (MADtv), Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory) and Finesse Mitchell (Saturday Night Live).
